Dragonite (Japanese: カイリュー Kairyu) is a Pokémon type Dragon. It is the evolved form of Dragonair when arriving at level 55 and the final form of Dratini.

Physiology

Despite being bulky, Dragonite is incredibly agile and fast. Unlike its pre-evolutions which are orange and have arms and legs, which are equipped with three claws. Dragonite is considerably smaller than Dragonair, having lost its serpentine shape. However, it keeps the horn on his forehead that had as a Dragonair, although now is orange like most of Dragonite body. They remind bipedal European dragons, and each has a pair of small wings green color, which can increase in size during the flight. They have a higher height than most humans. Dragonite also have antennae S-shaped cream-colored, striated belly.

Special skills
Dragonite are very fast and very strong Pokemon. When they become particularly angry, they can go on a rampage, and will be unable to control his aggression for some time. They are also able to use many elemental attacks. Dragonite flies at a speed unmatched and often at a high enough altitude, have been known to break sound barriers. The speed of their flight is so immense that are able to go around the world for 16 hours. Dragonite are also known to be resistant to failure, despite its overall smooth nature, and relentless attack your opponent, even when injured.

Dragonite is a draconic, bipedal Pokémon with light orange skin. It has large, grayish-green eyes and a round snout with small nostrils. A pair of long, thin antennae sprout from the top of its head, with a small horn set between them. Its striated underbelly is cream-colored, and extends from its neck to the tip of its long, tapering tail. It has thick arms and legs ending in three claws each. The leg joints are well defined, while its arms have a smooth, rounded appearance. Dragonite's wings are small relative to its body, with teal wing membranes.

Despite its bulky build, Dragonite is capable of flying faster than the speed of sound. It can circle the globe in sixteen hours, traveling roughly 1,556 mph (2,505 km/h), or about three times the speed of an average airplane.

Behavior

Dragonite has a kindly disposition and say they have human intelligence. They were said to save people from drowning and lead ships were caught in storms for safety. If angered, however, they are able to go on rampages uncontrollable, destructive with devastating results. During these times should not be addressed until tired out.
